Over the years we have won our share of close photos. Not today - Stop That Akki lost by about 4 inches after a thrilling stretch battle. I suppose we were due to come out on the short end of a tight finish. In the prior race, Secret Lies ran entirely too good to finish 5th. She was less than a length behind the runner-up and about 2 lengths from the winner.
It was a very busy weekend beginning on Thursday - 3 new claims, 2 wins, 2 seconds, and a hard luck 5th. Minus the bad claim in Iowa on Friday night, that was a very good, productive weekend.
We crank it up again on Thursday with back to back races (Uno Way Calle and Mooji's Sister).
